Dave and co-driver Allison Kern hanging it all out on a couple practice laps in their BMW Compact Cup (built from 318ti) rally car at Colorado Off Road Extreme (CORE) rally stage course. The FPV multirotor pilots were invited out to film a RallyCross fun/practice event (more footage of that later) and I was asked to film a couple laps on the stage course at the end of the day. Had been some recent rain, so plenty of mud and standing water. Kept the dust to a minimum though. More info about the Kerns at racekern.com
Flown with my Nighthawk 250 (280mm). Stock ESCs and motors w/ 6x4.5 props. Naze32 F1 controller running Boris B. Betafligt (Cleanflight) with software gyro filtering (hardware filter disabled), on luxfloat PID controller and absurdly low P values.
