While working underground, Handy stumbles upon a scene right out of a horror film. Understandably, he just wants to get back to work...
Since Saw X came out recently to positive reception by both critics and audiences (As of April 2026: 81% / 88% on Rotten Tomatoes), I've been toying with some short edits with some of the older films. I thought it would be humorous to incorporate the infamous "Reverse Bear Trap" scene with a scene from Happy Tree Friends where Handy was working underground, and had some choice words to say when he wasn't able to be understood.
This was a mostly straightforward video, as most of Handy's scenes were simply keyed out; although even then, I still had to crop some minor errors out so it would look much less sloppy. I also had some minor issues with his shadow at first, but I then blurred it, which actually made it look better in the end.
This is also the first video I uploaded that is both not only in 2:39:1 (theater ratio), but also at 60fps ( I only found out later that Saw films were released in 16:9/1.85:1... whoops!). With the laptop I was using at the time, it was a pain to get this properly rendered since it kept crashing.
