Wharfedale's SUPER LINTON stand-mount loudspeakers build on their popular LINTON heritage-inspired speakers, adding some key upgrades while keeping true to their laid-back signature sound.

The SUPER LINTON features a larger cabinet than the LINTON, but they keep the same footprint so you can use your LINTON stands. The cabinet's construction uses layers of MDF and different woods to keep acoustic vibrations at a minimum.
The bass woofer is 8 inches, and has been redesigned with a more powerful motor structure. There's a 5-inch midrange driver, plus a 1-inch soft-dome tweeter. The woofers are made from Kevlar, and the tweeter uses a redesigned wave guide for enhanced precision.
Are they worth an upgrade? How do they compare to similar speakers? We got our hands on a pair recently, and gave them a good listen. We put them side-by-side with the JBL L82 Classic MkII, the Klipsch Heresy IV, and finally, with the LINTON.
