A Channel Update, but not really.
I talk about what Im working on at the moment and about a possible map making series, if you guys are interested, as well as requesting you to help me on my project!
Requirements for the maps:
- Have good gameplay, like I talked about in the video.
- Have 8 spawn pads, not very open and keeping in mind the Spawn Protection, which will kill projectiles in a radius of 5 blocks.
- Be big enough for 8 people but not so big so 2 people cant find each other.
- Be clean looking, without visual polution that will affect the gameplay.
- Be easy to move around the whole map, without people having to die in an attempt to cross the map.
- Areas with enough space to move, avoid small areas.
- Leave notes for me, be it on a text file or on signs, talking about the map, what you did to make the gameplay interesting, the name of the map and telling me where the spawns, buffs and care packages are (lay down lamps and chests where you wish them to be) and dont worry about the redstone, Ill do it myself.
Tips to make the map better:
- Use the Slime Block jump boosts to be easier to move around.
- Put Buffs/ Debuffs in areas not so easy to get, but still possible to reach.
- Give reasons for people to move around the map by spreading Buffs/ Debuffs and Chests (Care Packages)
- The Buffs are: Speed, Regeneration, Saturation, Absorption, Resistance and Strength.
- The Debuffs are: Slowness, Poison, Blindness, Nausea and Weakness.
- Inside the care packages therell be bandages, grenades and special arrows (fire, poisonous, paralyzing, spider and explosive arrows).
- Each team has a colour, being Green, Yellow, Red, Blue, Orange, Cyan, Light Blue and White.
- Make it good looking but keeping the requirements in mind.
- Use imagination to make it unique!

So, Mumbo Jumbo made an Ceiling Armour Equiper, but his design used a 2 high ceiling and I decided to make another one with a little change, so the ceiling is 2,5 high, also eliminating the need of a double extender on top.
Its 9x5x3, very compact because of the piston layout (:

Mumbo Jumbo fez um Armour Equiper no teto, mas o design dele usava um teto de 2 de altura e eu decidi fazer um com uma diferença, assim o teto tem 2,5 de altura, também eliminando a necessidade de um double extender na parte de cima.

A dispenser/dropper that shots an item at you every time it gets updated, using a similar concept of the old lamp BUDs.
Altough there are other dispenser BUDs, they dont shoot the item at you or only activate with redstone updates (and dont work anymore).

Um dispenser que dispara um item para você toda vez que ele é atualizado, usando um conceito similar das antigas lamp BUDs.
Empora hajam outros BUDs com dispensers, eles não atiram o item para você ou só ativavam com atualizações de redstone (e não funcionam mais).
