Handrail joints made easy, I am doing the landing handrails for the staircase build. Handrails can often take time and they serve a super important purpose... safety, they need to be correctly fitted and strong to ensure no one falls!!!
I am using a simple template that allows me to mortice the newel posts to exactly fit the profile of the Stairbox handrail that we have with the staircase. I am using a router with one of my template cutters to easily form the recess and I start with the wall newel and then do the top newel in situ.
