Visiting knifemakers, blacksmiths, sharpeners, and craftspeople in Japan has always been something that makes us at Knifewear jump for joy. One of them companies we've been working with since virtually the beginning of our time selling Japanese kitchenware and knives has been TOJIRO. Under the watchful eye of master blacksmith Tomoo Matsumura, the team at TOJIRO Atelier produce some of the most technically challenging and beautiful knives, while also showing that it's possible to maintain a level of consistency the knife world rarely sees. We had the pleasure of interviewing four of their employees, and we hope you enjoy the insights they provide into their day to day life!
