For textile designer Barb Lynn of Travis Tweed, this connection is felt in her own work, weaving artisanal woolen fabrics in her rustic timber-framed workshop high in the mountains of Colorado.
Blending wild-harvested Wyoming sagebrush with locally-grown lavender, Barb crafts her fabrics into fragrant sachets, their scent evoking the bracing air and rugged terrain of their origin.
