Another first! I visited an aquarium that had an interesting enclosure for their arapaima. Not only was the underwater portion at least 6 ft deep, but the acrylic walls above water were at least 6 ft high to prevent them from jumping out. These prehistoric freshwater fish look like they have engravings carved on their face and beautiful colors on their tail. It was so cool seeing them vacuum up freeze-dried krill floating on the surface.
