Learn the Jewish prayer called Ha Motzi in Hebrew (מוציא "he removes"), said before eating bread made out of wheat, barley, rye, oats, or spelt flour. Shabbat Shalom!

The prayer is said by children in kindergarten and first grade from Temple Sinai of Oakland. It is also common to say or sing this prayer with Challah (Hebrew: חלה) a special braided bread at the Shabbat (Hebrew: שַׁבָּת, "rest" or "cessation" Shabbos Yiddish: שאבעס) evening meal. The Hebrew transliterated words are on the screen to help you learn how to sing Ha Motzi.
