I go out on a logging road and do a little operating on the southern Oregon coast overlooking the Pacific ocean.

I check into the Brookings Pelican Bay Amateur Radio Club's noon 2-meter FM net.

I the move and check into the 40-meter noontime net. I come across NI6IW which is the station on the USS Midway.

I then use Winlink for radio email followed by a couple of FT8 contacts.

It was an enjoyable afternoon.
