HAM RADIO: Antenna Tuner/Matching Unit -
Maintenance:
Did you know that you should clean your antenna matching / tuning unit from time to time?
Well I didn't, like many men out there I have not read the manual instead I have simply played with the unit, anyway today I read the book that came with the Plastar and low and behold it states I should clear it every six months or so...

How to use an ATU:
After the clean I will show you how I tune/match my antenna because and this is IMPORTANT you do not tune an antenna with an ATU/AMU you match the impedance of the antenna system to the radio.
and I will show you two ways to do it.
