Halo: Campaign Evolved has been criticised by OG Halo developer. Key designer Jaime Griesemer took umbrage to a big change in the Silent Cartographer level that lets you steamroll Hunters with a warthog by opening up a previously blocked path. "I intentionally placed rocks in the way so you had to fight them on foot. Griesemer said.
Fans also criticised the addition of a needless Needler ammo counter, but this design was actually introduced to Halo Infinite in 2021 so this is probably just a case of bringing weapon parity to the series.
There has been no shortage of controversy surrounding this Halo remake and Halo coming to PlayStation in genral. What do you think? Are you pleased to see Halo on PS5?
