Halloween: The Game just revealed a brand-new look at its civilian customization system, showcasing multiple unlockable outfits and cosmetics for the characters you’ll be using in online multiplayer, along with our first proper look at Laurie Strode’s Final Girl cosmetic inspired directly by her iconic 1978 movie appearance. The latest trailer confirms civilians will be able to customize their hair, headwear, eyewear, makeup, blemishes, and outfits, while the new footage gives us a closer look at several different 1970s-inspired clothing options, including Haddonfield varsity gear, casual jackets, shorts, cheerleader-style attire, and other looks designed to help each survivor stand out while trying to make it through the night. We also finally get a clearer look at the Laurie Strode Final Girl cosmetic, which will be available early through the Digital Deluxe Edition and Limited Collector’s Edition, while standard edition players will still be able to unlock it by progressing through the single-player experience. On top of that, IllFonic has confirmed that the previously revealed digital Halloween: The Game comic and advanced access to the Laurie Strode cosmetic are the final additional surprises planned for Digital Deluxe owners, meaning there do not appear to be any more secret bonus reveals coming before launch. The customization trailer itself is only around 30 seconds long and does not show much actual multiplayer gameplay or UI, but it does give us another look at several Haddonfield locations, civilian character models, and the overall 1978 aesthetic the game is going for, while confirming that every playable civilian will have multiple unlockable outfits and cosmetics.
