Halloween: The Game just revealed even MORE new story mode footage and teasers, while the bizarre situation surrounding the game's Australian ban continues to get even more confusing just weeks before launch. Australian players are still able to pre-order Halloween: The Game through the Xbox Store despite the game officially being refused classification, and IGN has now reached out to developer IllFonic asking whether the controversial marijuana gameplay mechanic could simply be altered or renamed to comply with Australia's classification guidelines, with no response from the developers so far. In this video, we're breaking down the latest on the Australian ban, why changing the marijuana joint to tobacco could potentially solve the problem, and the precedent set by State of Decay, which famously altered its in-game drugs to get around similar Australian classification issues.
