Join me LIVE as we create a vintage-inspired Halloween junk journal filled with tricks, treats, pockets, tickets, ephemera, and plenty of spooky little details!
For this project, Iâm using pieces from my Parkerâs 5 & Dime Halloween Collection, inspired by a neighborhood five-and-dime shop in 1926. Think penny candy, Halloween masks, toys, costumes, store advertisements, tickets, and all those wonderful little paper treasures that make a junk journal fun to explore.
During the Live, weâll work on bringing the journal together and, most importantly, playing with the paper. Weâll layer ephemera, create pockets and tuck spots, add tags and little surprises, and see how the different pieces can be used beyond simply placing them on a page.
If you already have the Parkerâs collection, grab your printed pieces and craft along with me. And if you donât, come hang out anyway! You can use the ideas and techniques with the Halloween supplies you already have in your stash.

One of my favorite things about junk journaling is taking a pile of paper and turning it into something that feels like it has a history. By the time we're finished, I want this journal to feel like a little Halloween treasure someone might have tucked away after a visit to Parkerâs 5 & Dime nearly 100 years ago.
