Tuscany-born photographer Marco Paoli brings his photographs to piazza Santissima Annunziata's Museo degli Innocenti. He captures the unusual, less well-known side of the region, travelling, studying and exploring unknown buildings, woods and ex-institutional buildings.
The photographs are accompanied by Alba Donati's poetry, poetry that came about by accident through Marco Paoli's friendship with the poet. The poems support and compliment the at times perplexing photographs and were born from a symbiotic creative relationship between the artist and the poet. The fruit of this exhibition is a bilingual book of the same title that contains 18 poems and 120 photos.
