Sorcerers Apprentice Reads | Hall of Smoke by H.M Long | Spoiler-free Review @SorcerersApprenticeReads | Uploaded February 2021 | Updated October 2024, 1 hour ago.
Hall of Smoke is a viking-inspired standalone adult fantasy novel released in January 2021, by debut author H.M Long. I picked this one up based on very little information due to a prompt in my January TBR to read a new release. It wasn't a perfect read, but I thought it was a strong debut. I think this is intended as a standalone, but there will be a companion novel currently planned for a 2022 release.
