3,500 LB Engine SHIPPED! Halifax Bomber's Bristol Hercules is Alberta Bound (Show 31)
Join Karl Kjarsgaard as we tackle a massive logistical challenge: shipping the Halifax Bomber's Number 4 Bristol Hercules engine—a QEC (Quick Engine Change Unit) weighing over 3,500 lbs—from Arnprior to the Bomber Command Museum of Canada in Nanton, Alberta.
Our specialists in Nanton will work on this engine all winter to prepare it for a live run on our yellow engine run trailer in the Summer of 2026!
A huge thank you to the de Waal family and East West Transport for donating the major portion of the haul.
The Mission Needs Your Support:
While the haul was donated, the preparation and launch of the engine still cost us over $1,500 CAD. We rely on your donations to cover these crucial, immediate operational costs. Help us hear the Hercules roar again!
