30-FOOT WING ASSEMBLED! Halifax Bomber Restoration Update - The Mammoth Task Continues (Sept 2025)
Join Karl Kjarsgaard and Chief Engineer Scott Knox in Arnprior's Hangar 42 for a critical update on the Handley Page Halifax WWII bomber restoration!
The mammoth task continues as we report on the centre wing section—a 30-foot span—being bolted together for the first time since it was originally built decades ago. Scott walks us through the thousands of man-hours required to completely rebuild the ribs, spar booms, and trailing edges using parts originally recovered in Malta.
