Since the superbowl is coming up in the US, I figured it would a fun idea to examine some of the less than pleasant halftime shows put on at the Roman Colosseum in classical antiquity. Everything from animal fights, like lions fighting bears, to tigers getting lose in the stands, to reenacting Greek and Roman myths, like Hercules!
