That's my way of getting this achievement with no damage.
Pretty much most of people (I really want to say "actually everyone", because I doubt anyone getting that achievement outside of the citadel) get that achievement in chapter 1 or 2, but it's really hard to do without damage. So I did this with zombies (The least harmable creatures in the game, also easier to group & hit with the energy ball) as soon as I got the enrgy ball from an elite combine soldier (and that's literally the first place where you can grab the orb from combines), found a big group of zombies...
And shot the ball in a random direction, thinking that one time it'll hit them. And it did.
