A quick little crossover animation for Death Stranding and Half-Life: Alyx. I mostly made this to learn how Source 2 Hammer and Filmmaker work. I felt inspired after playing the recent Death Stranding PC release. =P

"How did you get Source 2 Filmmaker?"
It comes with Half-Life: Alyx, along with other workshop tools, like the new map-editor, Hammer 2. You can also get it with DOTA 2 for free.

The tunnel map was made in Hammer 2, then embellished with props, details and lighting in Source 2 Filmmaker. Characters were animated with a bit of Kinect mocap and a ton of manual-cleanup. It took 4 days to make.

Things are a little slow while I transition to the new tools and deal with technical hurdles, but Source 2 is a treat to work with and is very promising!
