The Canadian singer and rapper Justin Bieber has been married to the American model and socialite Hailey Baldwin for three years now and of course, in marriage, there are a lot of ups and downs. Well, for the Baldwin couple, they have really been through a lot! From meeting in 2009 to getting married 9 years later in 2018, and all things in between, their relationship would have been the last thing people expected because of Justin’s relationship with the American singer and actress, Selena Gomez, which had been going on for several years before calling the final quits in 2017. But how did the two celebrities even meet? Hailey’s father, Steve Baldwin is also well-known being an actor and producer so it’s not a wonder that Hailey grew up in the spotlight, and even meet famous celebrities at a very young age. If you haven’t guessed it yet, Steve had everything to do with the couple first meeting in 2009 during a fan event.
Hailey was twelve at the time and well, you can definitely tell it was awkward. But of course, much has changed in the years that came because two years later, Hailey once again met Justin when her father Stephen brought her to the New York City premiere of Justin’s 3-D concert film, Never Say Never. “I was never a superfan, of him or of anyone. It was never that crazed, screaming thing. I didn’t think about it in any kind of way except for the fact that he was cute. Everybody had a crush on him. But for the first few years, we had a weird age gap,” Hailey, later on, explained in an interview with Vogue magazine. It seemed that love wasn’t really a part of God’s plan for them just yet. By November of 2014, Justin was still dating his on and off again ex-girlfriend Selena but was spotted attending Hillsong Church in New York City with Hailey and the American model, Kendall Jenner. Because they were seen together, many speculated that they were dating and because Justin had just broken up with his on-again, off-again girlfriend, Selena Gomez. This time, it was not Selena and Justin’s first breakup, and, as we all know, not their last.
