For anyone curious - Neku x Shiki day was decided very very quickly between me and two other friends on twitter who were lamenting about a lack of a day for it and thought hey - why dont we make one?. We werent quite sure of a date but wanted one soon ish. I went to see if there were any relevant numbers and there it was... item no. 248 Her Stuffed Animal which has the description Our buyer used every dirty trick to acquire this pig- uh, cat named Mr. Mew that Shiki brought to life via psychomancy.
And let me tell you I either forgot about it until now or only read this properly this year because WOW NESHIKI PERFECTION. THEREFORE 24/8 is Neshki day and the other two agreed.

as you can tell Neshiki means a whole lot to me like I was okay editing the scene now the day after the scene came out and I was editing using the part where they were holding hands to form their Pact? I CRIED TEARS. TEARS I TELL YOU.
and as proof of my Neshiki dedication - I did not know how to use MMD models before this edit but on Wednesday I was like if I can have Shiki dancing this would be perfect so I speed-learned how to do a simple MMD with loaded motions.

I know I already wrote a message but I want to just also say that what I love about skype crew is that even when we may have some diff likes/dislikes for ships were still the best of friends. and if youve ever seen my opinion soften on a ship I disliked in the past its like if you like it Sapphy it it must be good hehe And that said when we DO have the same ships its extra wonderful and I loveeee gushing together with you. Editing wise, Im really happy with how this came out. The bubble theme of the song seemed like it would be hard to deal with but it actually turned out all right in the end, yayyy. They really do just have the perfect clips for this song too, so that made my editing job easier.

Still not November but this was earlier than I uploaded it last year so wooo! Even if for most of the year DDS is inactive I do intend to keep the tradition of having this MEP/WORM annually! I still love these two as a ship and I do want to keep the ship alive too :D Hope some of you guys out there have love for them enough to edit once a year for them too :D
Editing veterans will know that for this WORM we only use songs that were released/covered/remixed this year, so make sure to stick to the 2017 theme! And of course, have fun!
Rules:
- Anyone can participate
- Comment that you want to participate, with the song you will use. (Check the heading songs)
- Must be in Widescreen
- All programs allowed
NOTE!: WMM is allowed IF you can make your part widescreen or dont mind the video being cut to widescreen later on.
- No subtitles in clips, please (if you clips have subtitles try and cut it out or I could try and do it for you.
- No watermarks
- Part must be between 10-40 seconds long
- No slideshows, but fanart is allowed.

Tadaa! I had just started playing pokemon sword when Red uploaded the MEP sign up and immediately thought of Hop for this. He looks up to his brother so much ;-; Though, of course with Twilight Wings, had to include John in it too. Has a tiny bit of Hop x Victor if you squint. Mainly because I didnt find the scene with Gloria but you know what, Victor deserves more love.
I already knew Id be using Hop but didnt realise how much Id love him by the end of the game! My soooooon ;-; ...or like bro in law if I count Leon as a husbando ASLKDJALD EVERYONE LOVES LEON IN THE GAME AND SO DO I. SO DO I. My faves aside from Hop and Leon ended up being like...Opal and Kabu because apparently I like cheering on for my seniors. Im also partial to Raihan and Gordie...just cause I like their style pfft.
...I just looked up the japanese names rn and AHAHAH ALLISTER IS ONION LMAO. I didnt have him I had Bea instead ofc. Bede is beet?! pahaha - yo yo yo ready for the Beet down yoooo (yes thats a twewy abridged reference).
Anyway, this game made me super nostalgic while I was playing it back in Malaysia, not knowing whether I would get the interview to come back to the UK yet. So many accurate scenes, reminding me of England!
Also, I liked how all the older characters were all like you have fun with your challenge, no worries, we adults will handle the other stuff aw. Though ofc the kids had to go and like be the heroes in the end cause like...pokemon so duh ofc the 10 year olds save the day cmon. (10? 12? idk theyre smol).
The music in this game is also super hype and I loved all of the tracks. My sister played after me and we always docked the Switch for the Gym Leader battles cause they look cool. As a power rangers fan - making your pokemon big? YES.
alskdja anyway this game was fun and Im super buzzed for the DLC thats gonna come out.

TADAA! This trailer has been eating at my SOUL. Even at work today Id remember the dont cry Shiki and be like...THEY ENDED THE THIRD TRAILER? LIKE THAT? WITH NEKU SMILING? AND SAYING THAT?
ARE THEY? TRYING? TO BE? THE DEATH OF ME?
...and yes thats why I worked with this song because it fits my mood and also marianas trench deserves and ALSO Shiki and Neku becoming Partners was the death of the old Neku....-cries-
ALSO RG SHIKI SLEAVE. Im 95% sure that it is Neku holding her hand there....if its not then I will pretend otherwise but no you know what Im 99% sure because it is Year of the Dina and I WILL IT TO BE.
and I actually really like how this turned out...I spent like 20mins adjusting effects to make the colouring and am quite happy with it.
And...there are enough clips from the trailers for me to not have to use all the fighty ones!? WINNING. I WIN.
Also this would have been done faster if not for the fact that I accidentally did not save a days worth of work on Monday and had to redo it that evening. My carelessness, in hindsight, may have been due to me being too hyped over neshiki and wanting to make a neshiki amv on the spot....WELP anyway its here now and thats all that matters.
Youre probably getting tired of me saying that I cried when I watched this new trailer...and yet i did. my edits have already always been super self-indulgent and theyre going to become even more so the rest of the year. OH and this is my first neshiki edit of the year....haha I wonder how many I will do this year....how...many...
