'New Compassion was one of the last songs we wrote for the new album. We wrote it very quickly and it almost felt like a mantra.
It’s about connective forces, about love. I think people feel a lot of pain and a lot of people feel very lonely now. But it’s universal and deeply human, and there’s a power in that.'
