I finally rolled credits on Hades after around 50 hours on my Steam Deck, and honestly… it’s still one of the best action roguelikes ever made.
Between its tight combat, brilliant writing, and incredible art style, it’s a perfect match for handheld play. The Deck handles it beautifully — stable performance, fast load times, and great battery life.
In this video, I share my thoughts after finishing the main story, talk about how it runs on Deck, and why I think Hades still holds up as one of the greatest indie games ever made.
⚡ If you haven’t played Hades yet — you’re missing out.
