Make healthy popcorn in the microwave at home—without the nasty additives. This fun hack of one of Indygo Junction's most popular patterns makes it easy.
Just pop the bowl in and flip the drawstring top down when it's done. Sprinkle with your favorite seasonings and voila! Gourmet popcorn, hot and fresh. ☺

MATERIALS:
• Micro-Safe Hot Holders pattern by Indygo Junction
• All fabrics, Wrap N Zap batting, etc. from pattern back
• Bias binding
• 3/4" Bias Tape Maker
• Clear quilter's ruler
• Rotary cutter and mat
• Sewing machine, iron, etc.
For small bowl holder, you'll need to cut two rectangles that measure 4-3/4" x 10".
-Use the Bias Tape Maker to make tape that's at least 46" long.
For medium bowl holder, you'll need two rectangles that measure 7-3/4" x 15-1/2".
-Use the Bias Tape Maker to make tape that's at least 37" long.
For large bowl holder, you'll need two rectangles that measure 10" x 20".
-Use the Bias Tape Maker to make tape that's at least 46" long.
Need some sprinkle ideas? Try pink Himalayan salt, nutritional yeast or powdered parmesan for a cheesy taste—or go exotic with Garam Masala or curry powder.
Mix it up with your oils, too. Try sesame for Asian spice mixes, olive oil for Italian, or even coconut oil. The list is endless—and trying new combinations is half the fun!
