Oyas Girl | Habari Gani/Day 2 of Kwanzaa/Kujichagulia-Self Determination & a Spread @oyasgirl7777 | Uploaded December 2018 | Updated October 2024, 39 minutes ago.
Self Determination [Kujichagulia] as it pertains to Kwanzaa principles, means to define ourselves, name ourselves, create for ourselves, and speak for ourselves and not the opposite such as being defined and named by the western system, greedy corporations creating for our consumption, and spoken for by others who arguably don’t value our interests
Below are some self-determination quotes to live by and/or motivate you:
If you are not willing to learn, no one can help you.
If you are determined to learn, no one can stop you. Be self-determined!
The difference between the possible and the impossible lies in a person’s determination. Be self-determined!
Don’t let others define you. Don’t let the past confine you. Take charge of your life with confidence and determination for there are no limits on what you can do or become.
In order to achieve success, one must have the determination and the will to succeed.
