As part of the year-long ODNR 75th Anniversary celebration, the Ohio Geological Survey celebrated the 25th anniversary of the opening of the Horace R. Collins Laboratory & Core Repository (HRC) at Alum Creek State Park in Delaware. Attendees at the public open house learned more about the important role the HRC plays in researching and advancing knowledge of Ohio’s geology and natural resources. The event included a special rededication ceremony, behind-the-scenes looks at the labs and research facilities, and opportunities to tour the rock core repository.
