〖 Goodbye 〗》Squirrelflight《 RAWBIN 2021-08-30 | !! MAJOR SPOILERS, both in video and desc !!Also!!!! About me changing my channel, that is no longer true, I'm back here again lolGOD I love Squirrelflight. Anyways have this short lil animatic I made :-)))If you're confused, here's an explanation. This animatic is jumping between times a lot so I get it's not completely comprehensive lol(DON'T take a shot every time I say Squilf you will DIE)Basically:Starts with Squilf who just found out/realised Leaf was staying behind, left in Starclan while she herself was to live on. They hug and say goodbye and we see a brief flashback of Squirrelpaw just about to start her journey, excited, with a less-excited Leafpaw staying in Thunderclan (which mirrors pretty well with what's happening "now", because Leaf is once more staying while Squilf is leaving lol). They say their final goodbyes and Squilf wakes back up and re-enters the living world, where she's alone and injured while Leafpool is, as you might have guessed, dead. Squilf screams at the sky (taking no special place in the timeline lol, idk when that happens or if she just imagines screaming at the sky) and we see flashbacks of her raising Lion, Jay, Holly and then Alder and Spark.A bit later on (but we're still in a flashback so to speak) she's looking out over the clan when "Bramblestar" throws her down from the high ledge before she's exiled.Flash back in time again, we see the fire scene where Squilf reveals the three are adopted. After this, her kits reject her. She takes comfort from Leafpool, then later finds Ashfur dead. Holly reveals the secret at the gathering and runs away but is "killed" by a rock-fall in the tunnels. Bramblestar yells at Squilf for keeping the secret from him.Two very short flashbacks of 1, Squilf standing up for Moonlight to Bramblestar and 2, the rockslide about to fall on Leaf and Squilf.Back in Starclan, Squilf is "judged" by the Starclan cats as she walks through them. She finds Leafpool yelling at one of them because.... they encouraged her to "follow her heart" and now they're having a fucking trial.... that's not cool lol, but anyways her screaming is interrupted as they see Squilf. The Starclan cat reveals one of them can live but the other can't, and while Squilf if horrified, Leaf immediately resigns to her fate because she's willing to die for her sister - Squirrelflight has already done so much for her, it's her turn to return the favour.Flash through the entire animatic so far (would have rearranged so everything was in chronological order but I'm too lazy lol) before pausing at the two of them hugging as they say goodbye and yada yada Squilf waking up, Leaf is dead. Robinfire is my new sona, BUT, their design is NOT 100% FINISHED. I still think I'll alter it some until I'm SURE I'll be happy with it and won't feel the need to change it anytime soon, because it'd be nice to feel completely satisfied with it so I never have to redesign them lol, even if I doubt that would ever happen. Right now, I'm pretty set on removing the red ear tips (more effort than it's worth) and giving them some form of colour on their eyebrows (not set on whether I'll make 'em ref, dark gray or light gray yet) and I think I'll change up the body type a bit too to match mine better. 2020 animation reel RAWBIN 2020-12-31 | TW for gore! It’s barely there but there’s one animation that depicts a cat ripping its arm off, though it isn’t graphic at all. Just warning to be safe! ^^"Whoop whoop here’s to hoping 2021 will be better than 2020 lolAnyways,, I feel like 2020 has been a surprisingly productive year for me! It’s mostly thanks to you pals though, so thank you so much adshjhsd (I STILL haven’t even fully registered how many of you there are????)My artstyle has really developed and I’m starting to be almost proud of it. Slowly getting there. :-)Some of the animations in the reel are up for everyone to see already, and some I haven’t released yet! There are some snippets of an AMV I’m working on (as well as WIPs and abandoned projects rip) in it. The WIPs and abandoned projects are mostly there as filler though lioijsdfhsdI tried to time everything with the music to make it more fun and engaging to watch but I have no clue if I managed lmaoSo, in conclusion: I’m overall happy with my content right now! If it’s the same next year, I definitely won’t, but I’m satisfied with how far I’ve gotten in this amount of time. I think I’m starting to get the hang of everything and it’s such a nice feeling to look at something I created and think “that looks good. Come little children - Christmas MAP part 6 RAWBIN 2020-12-13 | Hi hello I hope you guys don’t hate my new format, tho the views are saying that the new style I upload in sucks so please validate me :-D[Edit: the stuff in this part/explained in the description is no longer 100% canon in this story lol, Darksoul has been un-antagonised as I already feel I have enough villains. She’ll still be a background character, but she won’t have as big a role. Or maybe she will. Nothing’s been set in stone yet ^^"]For those wondering what’s going on in this part: basically, Darksoul (darkest kitty cat that is the focus of the whole part) grew up being invalidated by her transphobic mother (Breezycreek, cat who lip-syncs in the first shot and is dead in the last one) who kept calling her a “tom” and referring to her as her “son”. Her siblings were like “oh yay mother is nice to us” so they didn’t really care much about how abusive she was to Darksoul (except for Sparrowcall — the tabby standing next to Darksoul in the second shot, to her right — who began to realise that “hey, maybe mom isn’t so good actually” after becoming a warrior. Maybe, had he lived longer, things would’ve been different for Darksoul in the future). Anyways, this lack of support and love made Darksoul grow up to be cold and bitter, the only cats she had remotely any care for being her siblings Sparrowcall and Mosshitch (though they both died pretty early on in life — like, within moons of them all becoming warriors). Meanwhile, she justifiably hated her mother, and so she didn’t care when her mother died. Annndd that’s what’s going on in this part!!This is part of my warriors OC story “Casting Long Shadows”… I hope to make it into an animatic-styled series some day, and I hope you all will like it!! :-) Darksoul is one of the main antagonists in the story and I’ve put a lot of work into her!! ^^ (Also, if you’re gonna be mad about “omg how dare you make a trans villain that’s bad rep!!”, just know that she’s far from the only trans character and that like. I’m allowed to make my villains diverse too lol. I want equality here, and that means both cis and trans people can be good and/or bad!! I don’t want to give boring representation, I want to make all my characters interesting and add nuance to them, regardless of gender identity and sexuality.
