THE SCHPEEL:
Yes, this is my return to YouTube! After a long time of absorbing knowledge and improving, I’m ready to upload again. I have many projects in the oven (and several that are out of the oven), but things will be released when they are done. No more weekly uploads or deadlines of any kind, so I can comfortably upload whenever and not feel any pressure that hurts the quality of my stuff.
So anyway, how did I come to love this game so much?
I played it on launch day in 2020 but never finished the Yellow Streamer Area. Then, one day in spring 2024, I was watching an old SimpleFlips video and it had Origami King music in it. It made me remember the game and how awesome the soundtrack was. So I listened to some of it, and I guess it triggered some deep hidden nostalgia I didn't know I had. I resolved that I would start the whole game over again (as I had forgotten everything), and finally finish it.
So I did. I played about five hours every day after breakfast, fully in the zone, and to say I fell in love would be a vast understatement. This game has rocketed to one of my favorite games of all time.
I don't think there's any game I've been as hyper-obsessed with as Origami King. I've made several art pieces based on the game, I run a second channel dedicated to archiving the soundtrack and SFX, I’ve made and am working on several remixes, and I even own the limited edition MyNintendo official Origami King towel. I'm nuts over this game.
I have since played the Thousand-Year Door remake, the Super Mario RPG remake, and Super Paper Mario, and I’m working through Paper Mario 64 and Mario & Luigi: Brothership. I love those games too, but Origami King just resonated with me big time for whatever reason. I don’t know if I can truly sell how obsessed I was at this time last summer.
Anyway, I worked in as many references into this remix as I possibly could. I'll be interested in seeing if anyone catches them all. Some are decently well hidden! It took half a year to write the arrangement. The art was hand-drawn and hand-painted by me IRL, but also took a couple iterations before I settled on what you see in the video. I would like to do more hand-drawn thumbnails going forward, but it takes a long time to do. Much longer than you'd probably think. But like I said, things will come out when they’re done.
Extra special thanks to anyone who read this wall of text all the way through, and enormous thank you to everyone who waited patiently during my hiatus!

Sadly, this is not my proper return to YouTube, just a little something for Christmas.
Half-Life: Interlude is my number one favorite upcoming mod for Half-Life 2. It’s Episode Three, but with more creative twists and designed to look and feel like Valve could’ve made it themselves. The demo released today, please go play it and show this mod some love.
I knew I was never going to match the mixing or sound of the original’s guitars, so I went for a more punchy dark synth style. The parts that I wrote were written to break up the repetition of the main melody. I’m satisfied with this one.

Thank you to all of my subscribers and viewers for the support!
No uploads for over a month... did I die? No. I just crashed. I got lazy, then started working on a project that I have now postponed indefinitely (Sky Sanctuary Zone), then started working on a project that I'm STILL trying to get right (Pac-Man's Park), and then I sat down and made this. That's the TL;DR version of my recent community posts.
Delfino Airstrip is a song I'd consider to be an underrated jam. I didn't make any massive tone-altering changes, I just added the drumbeat and the extra synths. I used the Super Mario Sunshine soundfont to separate the piano and string parts from the original, and used them as a base for the non-OG instruments. As for the artwork, I took a screenshot from the Garry's Mod Delfino Airstrip map, and then filtered it to resemble the icky-paint-like-goop found on the airstrip in-game.
If you liked this remix, or even if you DIDN'T like this remix, let me know in a comment! I appreciate all feedback (that isn't overtly hurtful.)
Super Mario Sunshine and this song are both properties of Nintendo.
Happy April 1st.
I tried to make this project special and spent a lot of time over fine details.
Artwork made in Garry's Mod. Originally, I wanted the ruby to hover AND spin, but there's no add-on or tool in Garry's Mod that produced the effect I wanted.
Original song by Tee "Totino's" Lopes, someone I greatly respect and admire.
I played way too much B3313. It was distracting me from working on YouTube projects, so I decided to connect the two together. I omitted two things from the original; the piano trill at the start, and the extra layers during the super funky part. I just couldn't figure out what sample(s) to use, and the song sounds real good without them anyway.
Once again, I had volume struggles with this one, but this time I found a fix! By separating the particularly bass-heavy tracks and using a visual equalizer, I could make the song louder without peaking, and it only took off a small bit of the punch!
The artwork was made in Garry's Mod, as usual. If you want to see my artwork without any of the video overlays and what-not, you can see them on my LambdaGeneration page: community.lambdageneration.com/gmod/post/3gifadjgqei
Not many people (if any) seem to know that I post there occasionally, so I encourage you to check it out for yourself!
Happy camping.
I actually haven't played Lethal Company (I own it, but I'm waiting for my big new computer)... I've watched plenty of other people play it, though. Surely it's the same experience, right!?
The extended parts of the main melody bits was something I came up with while whistling the theme in the shower.
This GIF of Waluigi still makes me happy.
The original had a pretty nasty guitar instrument for the melody, and here I swapped that out with a synth. However, I had to reduce some of the punch and steadfastness of the previous version to accommodate. Otherwise it sounded a bit off.
I did update some of the editing, though. I changed the supplementary credits to be easier to read, and the final Baldi waving screen to work as an individual upload, rather than the end of a larger, longer video.
The inspiration for the song itself was the classic Sonic credits medleys, which mash small segments of the main themes together.
This video is the last individual song upload for Baldi's Basics Full OST Remix, but it's probably not the last of Baldi's Basics Full OST Remix as a whole. But you'll have to wait and see what I mean by that.
After way too long, I've finally finished it. I really hope it satisfies.

Trivia notes and fun facts about this remix:
------------------------------------------
I felt like the original version had too many good ideas clustered together, so my strategy was to spread it all out.
There WERE more voice-lines mixed into this song, but they got lost in the exporting somewhere along the way. Whoops. I decided it wasn't worth exporting the whole video again. I probably shouldn't have done that, now that I think about it.
The breakdown at the conclusion to this remix was inspired by Big Arm from Sonic Generations (It actually has the same drum-line.)
I've listened to this remix so many times in making it that I got tired of my own remix. So I sought the help of GenixYT, and various other friends, and they generally said it was :fire: , so I wrapped it up and uploaded it. I definitely will be figuring out some sort of system for making remixes that prevents me from getting tired of my own remix again.
As always, thank you for watching! We're almost at 500 subscribers, and growth has been very slow lately, probably my fault, but I think we'll get there soon.
There isn't much you can do to remix this song. I added drums and made it sync with the lyrics. Cool.

The impetus to make this video was to highlight the melody similarity between Crisis City from Sonic '06 and Koopa's Road from Mario 64. But I wasn't actually going to make and upload it, until I got distracted from another project and decided to fully commit to this idea. For Christmas.
I did some of my own little... things, with the music. Whirlwind has a special underground theme cameo and I added some Mario SFX to Crisis City Act 1 from Generations. I didn't hold myself to how the original songs sounded, I went with what I thought sounded cool in the instruments. Some instruments are also from the Mario Kart 64 soundfont.
Merry Christmas, and happy New Year!
Yeah, there's like... two editing mistakes. They're so small and it takes two hours to export the video, so I'm rolling with it.
This arrangement was difficult to make. At first I was going for a more bumpin' type remix, but that quickly became extremely difficult. The main melody is broken into alternating sections of 4:4 time and 3:4 time. So I wrote my own drum line for seven beats and converted to a more faithful sound. Some parts I wrote myself. The "Amy in the TARDIS" section was accidental, but once I realized what I'd done I went with it. I was trying to make my own melody, and stumbled upon the familiar down-scale.
The clip compilation took a lot of time and effort. Clips from Sub2RichieReviews and TheOncomingStorm.
All footage belongs to the BBC and the original song was made by Murray Gold.
I hope you enjoy!
The impetus behind making an "Album Version" was simply to make it longer. I've added a little new melody section in the center and generally extended and improved the arrangement.
I was going to go through the effort of putting together background gameplay footage for this video (Courtesy of Flook611), but ultimately decided not to. It may not seem like it, but it would've taken a lot of time. I still tried to make the background have a little bit more flare than usual, though.
I hope you like it, and be sure to comment, because reading comments is one of my favorite things to do :)

I gained a lot of good practice with Adobe Premiere Pro making the video for this one. And I think most will agree that I wasn't very good with editing, and only somewhat competent with remixing. This project has made me level up my skills a lot.

Thank you to all 458 subscribers to my channel! All support means a LOT to me, and I thank each and every one of you. In the future, I will strive to make higher quality content. Working on this project has greatly improved my remixing and editing skills, and I plan on taking those skills into future projects. Stay tuned! And sorry for disappearing for two months, I had to finish this project on time for Baldi's Basics Classic Remastered's first anniversary.
This project was created for Micah McGonigal and fans of Baldi's Basics. Thank you!
I kind of just went crazy on the arrangement. I tried to make it sound faithful to the original while also sounding distinct (I cheated and used Windows default MIDI instruments.) I also incorporated a short bit of "Chemical Flow" from Sonic Forces in there. Cause' I'm a genius.
After a lot of practice over time on unfinished remixes of other songs, I think I've managed to significantly improve my remixing ability. Remixing vocal tracks for a month did help a lot too, even if none of them were especially great.
I also figured out how to mix together soundfonts (I mixed a Windows default MIDI .sf2 and a Genesis .sf2 for this one.) I will try to make use of this new knowledge in the future.
Please leave a comment, I love reading comments.
Also subscribe, I'm only ever getting better.
Have a good day!

I made the art (I don't know what the pose is, I just needed something.)
Finally a step in the right direction.
Silver's my favorite, and while this song is definitely not my favorite, I still wanted to remix it. I almost completely replaced the drums with new ones, I added up-scale and down-scale flourishes, and implemented a more satisfying conclusion to the song. Among other additions.
It's not bad for my second/third try at remixing a song with lyrics!
The problem with making remixes is that I have to listen to the same song over and over again, and over time my appreciation for my work wears down. I just push through with the memory of first hearing the finalized sound and being really happy, knowing that'll (probably) be people's first reaction.
This video is kind of in memory of my Minecraft Allay that I named Silver. He drowned in a cave waterfall, and I stumbled upon the iron ingot he was holding before I realized he died. That sounds really silly, but it did actually happen. I also have two other Allays named Sonic and Shadow, who are still alive, but stuck next to my enchantment table. Silver lives on in my Minecraft world as the name of my silk touch iron pickaxe.
I just threw together a visual for this one.

Credits to Anthony Hampton for writing the original song, Mystman12 for making the game, and to Shawl for asking me to make this.
I rebuilt the song from scratch just by listening to it, so it isn't exact 1-to-1.
Credits to Anthony Hampton, for writing the original song. Mystman12 for making the game. And Alexander Connor for giving me a much needed motivation boost.
I spent some time making a chart of all the instrument sounds I like, and what they're good for (Melody, support, etc). This will make the process of creating a little bit faster.
So I went back and remade this video. I know people are probably getting tired of the remakes, and I have no more remakes planned for this year.
I now know exactly what I'm making for the duration of 2023. A lot of large scale projects that have been brewing in my mind are set to come into fruition this fall.
I'll end this mini-creator-log by saying that I make these videos and remixes for fun and out of passion. There will NEVER be a financial incentive behind any of my projects. Attention is just a bonus.
Please comment, I love reading comments.

I love the bassline, but I wouldn't feel bad if you think the melody is a bit hard on the ears.
