Every year we do a huge Halloween haunt set up in our yard. We have a big fenced in graveyard, lots of ghosts and skeletons, and a lot of other DIY Halloween props that we’ve made throughout the years. One of the simplest things we've made is this cheap and easy fence that wraps around our yard. It's made from simple pine that we got at the big box store and only costs about $3 per section. Each year we build a couple more and expand it a little further.
These are SUPER SIMPLE to make and a lot of fun!
We’re new to making videos so we’d love to hear your feedback! Please leave us a comment below and let us know what you think of the build! Want to see us make something? Let us know below!

#DIY #Halloween #FenceThe OTHER MOTHER Animatronic from Coraline! #shortsWicked Makers2023-10-13 | Jaimie and Jay turn a Spirit Halloween animatronic into THE OTHER MOTHER from Coraline!
Halloween 2023 is just over a month away, and we’ve been super busy with a bunch of DIY Halloween decorations and Halloween Animatronic makeovers. In this video, we’ll show you how to make The Other Mother for your Halloween haunt.
The Other Mother (The Beldam) is the villain from one of our favorite stop motion movies, Coraline. She’s a demonic, shape-shifting creature whose final form is a skeletal spider-like woman. We’ve gotten a ton of requests to make Coraline’s Other Mother, and we think that Spirit Halloween’s new Animatronic, Darling Dolly, will make the perfect base for this animatronic makeover.
To turn Darling dolly into the Other Mother, we’ll reshape her back and giver her a brand new costume made with fabric and EVA foam. We’ll sculpt over Darling Dolly’s head with Epoxy Sculpt to create the Beldam’s cracked and pointed features. Her fingers will be replaced with oversized sewing needles and her arms are sculpted with foam clay. Some paint, button eyes, and a new wig will complete her look.
We love how our Other Mother makeover turned out. Let us know in the comments what you think!

Halloween 2023 is one month away, and we’re so excited! We’re doing a TON of Halloween Animatronic makeovers and DIY Halloween decorations this season. In this video, we’re challenging ourselves to do a complete Halloween animatronic makeover using only Dollar Store materials.
The first step to our Dollar Store challenge was a trip to the Dollar Tree. Armed with our supplies, we went back to the shop to make a plan. Home Depot’s Lethal Lily is a really cool animatronic because it has a lot of motion in the face and head, so we were really happy to add this Home Depot animatronic to our collection.
We ended up painting her face, adding to her costume and staff, and we even added a cool smoke effect to her basket.
We love how our upgraded Lethal Lily animatronic turned out. Let us know in the comments what you think!

#Halloween #DollarTree #MakeoverWe made a PENNYWISE Animatronic for Halloween! #shortsWicked Makers2023-09-22 | Jaimie and Jay make a PENNYWISE Animatronic for Halloween!
Poor Lucky Bottoms… This Spirit Halloween animatronic is scary right out of the box, but we knew that we could make him absolutely terrifying. He lost his legs in a tragic magic trick gone wrong, so our plan was to give them back - only this time he’d have a few extras. Clowns are scary and giant spiders are even scarier, which makes the Pennywise spider form from IT pure nightmare fuel. Clowns are not usually a part of our Halloween decorations and this new addition is sure to scare all of the Trick ‘r Treaters!
To start our Halloween makeover, we first made Lucky Bottoms a new frame out of PVC to get him off the ground. We gave him PVC giant spider legs which were then covered in pool noodles. We made him a new costume to look more like Pennywise, completely re-painted his face, and gave him a new wig. The final results are both amazing and terrifying. We’re so excited to include this scary clown in our Halloween 2022 haunted house yard display.
The Spirit Halloween Lucky Bottoms animatronic is a scary Halloween prop but we knew that with a little DIY love we could unleash his true power and figure out how to make him into the most terrifying clown you’ve ever seen. We’re so happy with how this epic prop redo turned out and we hope you enjoyed watching it! Let us know if there are any Halloween Animatronics you’d like to see us upgrade!

#SpiritHalloween #Animatronic #MakeoverWe made a real LAST OF US Animatronic! 😱 #shortsWicked Makers2023-09-15 | Jaimie and Jay turn their Spirit Halloween Night Crawler animatronic into a Clicker from The Last of Us!
The full video is on our channel!
We LOVED the TV adaptation of The Last of Us and to celebrate we decided to make our own animatronic Clicker! A Clicker is essentially a mushroom zombie. The cordyceps fungus has taken over their brain and burst out of their skull. Gross. Because of this, they can’t see and instead use a type of clicking echolocation to find their prey. Naughty Dog did a crazy good job designing these iconic monsters in the video game, and HBO really knocked it out of the park bringing them to life for their The Last of Us show. We couldn’t wait to make a fungus zombie of our own.
We started our build using the Nightcrawler animatronic from Spirit Halloween. This Halloween animatronic has a great jump scare and was the perfect base for our DIY Clicker. We sculpted our zombie head’s mushroom bloom with craft foam and foam clay and his clothes were upcycled from the Goodwill thrift store.
We’re so happy with how our Spirit Halloween animatronic makeover turned out and we can’t wait to see the finale of The Last of Us this weekend! If you want to learn how to make animatronic monsters, upgrade your Spirit Halloween/Home Depot/Lowes animatronics, or just watch some awesome Halloween DIY tutorials, please consider checking out some of our other Spooky DIY videos. #DIY #Halloween #SpellbookGLOWING SPIDER Animatronic Makeover! 💀 DIY HalloweenWicked Makers2023-09-04 | Jaimie and Jay give Spirit Halloween’s Jumping Spider a major GLOW UP!
We love making spiders for Halloween, but they’re always so hard to see in the dark… until now! The game Dungeon Hunter 6 is coming out soon, and features an awesome looking glowing scythe spider, so we decided we’re going to try to bring it to life. For the base of this DIY Halloween decoration, we’re going to use the Jumping Spider animatronic from Spirit Halloween and give it a makeover. Using some techniques that we learned from the world of DIY cosplay, we’ll build his shell and spikes out of EVA foam. Clear Easter eggs were used to create glowing orbs on his back, and clear UV resin made his eyes. We sculpted his details with foam clay and finally painted him with neon fluorescent paint that glows super bright using a UV black light.
We’re in love with how this Halloween animatronic makeover turned out! We took a Spirit Halloween animatronic from a floppy fuzzy spider to a pointy glowing green nightmare. We can’t wait to add him to our Halloween 2023 yard display and scare some unsuspecting trick-or-treaters with it.

The Barbie Dream House is an iconic dollhouse that represents fun, glamour and innocence. It’s Barbie’s happy place. In this DIY project, we turn her dream into a nightmare. We use paint, custom sculpted miniature props, flickering candles, spiders, and spooky digital video effects to give Barbie’s dreamhouse a makeover into a scary haunted house. It’s all powered by an Arduino Uno R4. We take inspiration from classic horror movies and TV shows like Scream, Stranger Things, The Ring, and Arachnophobia. You’ll see Samara coming out of the TV, Ghostface is stalking Casey in the kitchen, and a possessed Barbie is summoning monsters with her magic circle in the Living Room. There’s even a Skibidi toilet in there. We wanted to call out Southern Gothic Dollhouse for inspiring us with her beautiful and haunting custom dollhouse. Check her out!

Ahoy Mateys! Halloween 2023 is fast approaching and we’re making a bunch of DIY scary outdoor Halloween decorations. First up is a drunken skeletal pirate animatronic inspired by the Pirates of the Caribbean! This video covers a ton of Halloween DIY techniques. We start with a simple plastic skeleton that you can get at any store like Home Depot, Lowes, Spirit Halloween, or Party City. In this tutorial, we’ll show you how to build a simple swaying animatronic mechanism using PVC pipe and a wiper motor. We’ll also show you how to corpse a skeleton using cotton, latex, and contact cement. This corpsing technique gives you a more decayed look vs. the more mummified skin look that corpsing with plastic wrap and a heat gun gives you. We’ll age and weather clothes from the thrift store and finally paint our skeleton zombie to make him look super scary and realistic!
This easy DIY Halloween project is a great way to dive into the world building your own Halloween animatronics. Huggy Wuggy is a giant, blood-thirsty blue toy from the indie horror game Poppy Playtime. He creepily wanders around an abandoned toy factory hoping to catch you, give you a big hug, and bite your face.
In our past DIY animatronic projects, we would typically take a Halloween animatronic from somewhere like Spirit Halloween, Home Depot, or Lowes. Since their new 2023 Halloween collections haven’t been released yet, we decided to try making an animatronic completely from scratch. We built Huggy Wuggy’s skeleton from PVC pipe, and we used a windshield wiper motor for his motion. His head was sculpted out of Styrofoam and the whole thing was covered with fluffy blue fur. We got to use our new Hot Wire tools to cut the foam and they worked really well. Highly recommend you check them out if you do a lot of foam carving. It’s been an engineering challenge trying to get him balanced and moving how we want him to, but we’re very happy with the result.
Building our DIY Huggy Wuggy animatronic was a lot of fun! Let us know if you want to see us build more characters from scratch, or if you want to see more Halloween animatronic makeovers. We love both! We also really enjoyed doing the toy makeovers for Freddy Fazbear and Choo Choo Charles.

While working on our dancing Freddy from FNAF, we went deep down into the rabbit hole of indie horror games and discovered… Choo Choo Charles. He’s loosely based on a cursed Thomas the Tank Engine and his vacant expression still haunts our dreams. We had to bring him to life.
The base for our new toy makeover is a RC spider toy. We built Choo Choo Charles’ body with balsa wood, some recycled trash containers, and a handful of 3D printed parts. His face was sculpted with Apoxy sculpt and Sculpey and his legs were made with Foam Clay.
We hoped you enjoy watching our DIY Choo Choo Charles animatronic project. He’s definitely giving us evil Thomas the Tank Engine vibes. We love to make spooky DIY and Halloween projects all year long. If you want to see more, we have a bunch of animatronic makeovers, horror toy makeovers and DIY Halloween props and decor on our channel. Until next time, stay wicked!
#ChooChooCharles #Animatronic #DIYWe made a Dancing FREDDY Animatronic from FNAF!Wicked Makers2023-05-05 | Jaimie and Jay turn a cute dancing bear into a Withered Freddy animatronic from Five Nights at Freddy’s!
We’re big fans of the survival horror game series Five Nights at Freddy’s (FNaF). It’s about these life-sized animatronics from a kid’s Pizza parlor that wander the halls at night doing very bad things. When we got this cute dancing bear as a joke gift, we knew immediately that we wanted to turn it into a Freddy Fazbear animatronic. We picked Withered Freddy Fazbear as our model, who first appeared in the game *Five Nights at Freddy's 2.* He’s got a great old look with tattered skin and wires hanging out. It’s exactly what I imagine an old ShowBiz Pizza or Chuck E. Cheese animatronic would look like in my nightmares.
Half of Freddy’s body is made with upholstery foam/high density foam. This stuff is hard to sculpt, but you really only need a sharp utility knife and something to sand it with. It’s great for this project because it’s able to compress with the bear’s movements and still keep its shape. His feet were sculpted with Apoxy Sculpt and his head and hands were 3D printed so that we could match the game model. We flocked all the 3D printed parts to make him look fuzzy and tie the two different textures together.
We’re so happy with how our FNaF Withered Freddy animatronic came out. We've been wanting to make Freddy Fazbear in real life, and it was nice to start with a small animatronic base. With the Five Nights at Freddy’s movie coming out this Halloween, we’re hoping to do even more FNaF animatronics! We’d eventually love to make life-sized animatronics of the whole crew - Bonnie, Chica, Foxy, and of course Freddy. Let us know which one you’d want to see first!!

THE GHOSTFACE ANIMATRONIC ► We’re HUGE fans of the Scream movies. Ghostface is such an iconic character and we really wanted him to be in our home haunt. He’s known for great jump scares, so for this project we used The Hauntress from Spirit Halloween as our base. She’s an amazing Halloween animatronic that is designed to hide behind a wall and “jump” out at unsuspecting trick-or-treaters.
Scream 6 recently came out and the Ghost Face mask featured in the marketing has a really cool aged look with cracks and dirt on it. To do our Scream 6 mask repaint, we bought a Funworld Scream mask, sculpted on some cracks and damage with Apoxy sculpt, gave it some texture, and then painted the rest with acrylic paints. Special shout-out to Cosplay Chris and Insane Lee Creating. They both have AMAZING Scream 6 mask makeover videos and their techniques helped a ton with this project.

#Wednesday #Thing #AnimatronicsWe turned a Christmas Gift into a Horrifying MIMIC!Wicked Makers2022-12-24 | Jay and Jaimie make a Mimic for Christmas! (You probably shouldn't open it...)
Just imagine it… You wake up on Christmas morning, brimming with excitement to see what presents Santa has left you under the tree. You spot a large, beautiful gift topped with a bow. THIS is the present you want to open first. You run towards it and the moment you touch it, you realize your mistake. You’ve failed your investigation roll… Large fang-like teeth pop out and eight monstrous eyes are staring straight at you. You’ve fallen victim to THE CHRISTMAS MIMIC.
Mimics are shape-shifting monsters that pretend to be an ordinary object to lure in their prey. They can be found in games like Dungeons & Dragons and Dark Souls. For Christmas 2022, we’re going to make our very own yuletide Mimic Christmas present. This DIY Mimic is easily made with foam board, air dry foam clay, and acrylic paints.
We hope you enjoy our Mimic tutorial. If you make your own Christmas present monster, send us a pic!

The new Wednesday show comes out on Netflix this week and we’re so excited! We’re huge fans of the Addam’s Family, it’s being directed by Tim Burton AND Jenna Ortega looks like she’s going to do FANTASTIC job. Fingers crossed that it will actually be as good as it looks.
While we were browsing Home Depot this past Halloween season, we came across this super creepy animatronic doll. She’s the size of a small child, but her face looks like it’s made of broken porcelain and one of her eyes glows red for some unknown reason. She was the perfect candidate for a Halloween animatronic makeover.
Our life sized custom Wednesday Addams doll started with a full face repaint. We gave her hand painted eyes, new hair, a new costume, and replaced her giant hobbit feet with boots.
We hope you enjoy our DIY Wednesday Addams OOAK doll tutorial. If you want to see more Halloween DIY projects or Spirit Halloween Animatronic makeovers, we have a TON on our channel. Thanks for watching!
#WednesdayAddams #AddamsFamily #MakeoverINSANE SPIRIT HALLOWEEN MAKEOVER! Making The Joker...Wicked Makers2022-10-30 | Thanks to Rocket Money for sponsoring today’s video! Visit rocketmoney.com/wickedmakers to start managing your personal finances today. 🤘💀 -------- Jaimie and Jay give Spirit Halloween’s Nozzles the Clown a makeover and turn him into The Joker!
About this Halloween Animatronic Prop: Nozzles the Clown from Spirit Halloween is a 6ft tall monstrous creature that shoots fog at unsuspecting trick-or-treaters. His eyes glow yellow, his arms move up and down, and his waist turns from side to side. He even glows under black light. He’s no doubt a scary clown…but for this Halloween we wanted to transform him into one of the most insane characters we could think of — The Joker!
After the unboxing, we started by giving him a new costume featuring The Joker’s iconic purple suit. We repainted his face with latex mask paint and gave him more realistic irises. A bow tie and stylish purple shoes completed his look. We weathered all his clothes with black acrylic paint and hooked him up to a fog machine. He was finally ready to terrorize Gotham!
This version of The Joker was heavily inspired by the Batman: Arkham Asylum/Arkham Knight video game series as well as the Dark Knight and the Batman comics and graphic novels. The mask repaint was a lot of fun and I think we really transformed Nozzles into an awesome character. We love making our own Halloween props and decorations from scratch, but giving existing props a makeover is also a lot of fun. Spirit Halloween animatronics can provide a great starting point, and with a little bit of DIY love you can transform them into something spectacular for your haunted house or Halloween yard display.
This is our final animatronic makeover of the Halloween 2022 season and we’re so excited to keep doing more diy props and makeovers all year long. We’ve definitely got some spooky Christmas ideas in the works. Thanks to everyone for an amazing season and Happy Halloween!

#Halloween #rocketmoney #personalfinanceWicked Makers 2022 HALLOWEEN Tour! (Day & Night)Wicked Makers2022-10-23 | Jaimie and Jay take you on a full tour of their 2022 Halloween Haunt yard display!
Welcome to Oakview Cemetery! We’ve been building our Halloween yard haunt for over 6 years, and for the first time ever, we’re taking you on a full tour through our spooky display. We’ll start with the daytime tour so you can see how we’ve arranged our different Halloween themes. We’ve got the classic spooky cemetery filled with custom tombstones which is haunted by our chicken wire ghost. Lurking in the graveyard is Pennywise the clown (previously Lucky Bottoms before his makeover) and his “friend” Georgie. There’s a giant, mysterious stone portal which serves as a gateway to another realm. We show a custom projection on there (available on our Patreon) as well as a video from AtmosFX. Outside the portal is Lord Raven from Spirit Halloween and his two giant 12ft skeleton minions. Gertie the giant spider has filled the trees with her spooky spiderwebs and egg sacs. The Empty Soul Girl on a swing sways gently in the wind. In the front we have our undead skeleton pirate party with the endless drinking skeleton and magical floating wine bottle. Our rocking chair swamp witch sits next to a bubbling cauldron with glowing coals. Behind her is the life size Minecraft spider. The final test for trick-r-treaters is the Sitting Scarecrow who is easily the most terrifying creature in our whole haunt.
Almost everything in our Halloween Haunt is a Halloween prop that we made or a custom animatronic makeover. If you want to learn how to make your own Halloween decorations, we have YouTube tutorials that show you how to make Halloween decor from scratch and how to upgrade Halloween animatronics from places like Spirit Halloween and Home Depot. We have a ton of easy Halloween DIY projects that anyone can do to help keep the spirit of Halloween alive in your neighborhood!

#Georgie #Pennywise #HalloweenSCARY HALLOWEEN Makeover! We made Pennywise from IT...Wicked Makers2022-10-09 | Jaimie and Jay turn Spirit Halloween’s Lucky Bottoms into a terrifying PENNYWISE SPIDER!
Poor Lucky Bottoms… This Spirit Halloween animatronic, new for 2022, is scary right out of the box, but we knew that we could make him absolutely terrifying.

About this Halloween Makeover: Spooky graveyards with old tombstones are an easy and classic way to decorate your yard for Halloween. You can make it as scary or silly as you want (we personally love funny tombstone sayings)! Its easy to make your own headstones from scratch, but it’s even EASIER to upgrade store-bought tombstones.
We picked up a couple of new Styrofoam tombstones from Home Depot for our 2022 Halloween decorations. They actually were a good size and had some nice carving, but the paint job was a little plain and we wanted to add in our own epitaphs. Luckily, giving your Halloween store Tombstones an epic makeover is crazy easy! After sanding off any decorations that you don’t want, you can either carve in your own letters with a Dremel, or you can use 3D letters. Cover it with a coat of Drylok and some drippy layers of acrylic paint and you’ll have a realistic gravestone for Halloween that’s to die for 😄
If you’d rather make your own DIY Tombstones, we have a tutorial for that here - youtu.be/vEpFd1oqwDA. We love making our own Halloween props and decorations from scratch, but giving existing props a makeover is also a lot of fun. Foam Tombstones from Spirit Halloween, Target, Home Depot, or even the Dollar Store can provide a great starting point, and with a little bit of DIY love you can transform them into a customized, realistic Halloween prop for your haunted house or Halloween yard display.
#DIY #Halloween #MakeoveWe gave LORD RAVEN from Spirit Halloween an EPIC Makeover!Wicked Makers2022-09-25 | Jay and Jaimie give Spirit Halloween’s LORD RAVEN an insane makeover (with wings) for Halloween!
When we saw the Lord Raven Halloween animatronic from Spirit Halloween (new for 2022), we immediately fell in love. His design was so unique! We ordered him almost 2 months ago, and after a long journey of getting lost in the mail twice, he finally arrived.
Lord Raven, from the Spirit Halloween 2022 collection, was easy to setup. His animatronic motion is really cool! His arms/wings flap, his head moves in and out, his eyes glow red, and his long beak talks about how he and his crows will pick your bones clean.
After our Home Depot Witch makeover and our Spirit Sitting Scarecrow makeover, we were feeling pretty confident that we could tackle our biggest Halloween prop makeover yet. We gave him an entirely new dark sorcerer costume, accessories, and lightweight foam black feather wings (inspired by the DIY Feather wings from Stiltbeast Studios!).
We are SO HAPPY with how Lord Raven turned out! This Halloween animatronic is the perfect addition to our 2022 Halloween decor and he would make a scary Halloween prop addition to any haunted house or Halloween yard display.

#DIY #SpiritHalloween #MakeoverWe made Halloween Witchs Potions with a Magical Twist!Wicked Makers2022-09-18 | Jay and Jaimie put their unique "spin" on the viral magic potion bottles!
Glittering magic potion bottles are a fun DIY project for Halloween that are super popular on TikTok and YouTube right now. You fill a glass vial with rubbing alcohol or water and glycerin, add in some food coloring and mica powder, give it a shake, and a color changing swirling storm appears inside. The problem is that this effect only lasts for a few seconds and we want the magic in our witch's potions to last forever.
Grandin Road, Home Depot, and Target all sell animated crystal balls that have an automatic swirling motion, so we took our inspiration from these. The effect is surprisingly easy to create, and in this video we will teach you how to make your own swirling potion bottles.
The mechanism is hidden inside an ancient spellbook. We show you how to make a faux leather effect in our DIY Spellbook video. (youtu.be/zIxv03FK0AU)
These DIY potion bottles are perfect addition to your 2022 Halloween decorations! They'd fit in wonderfully with a Happy Potter, Hocus Pocus, or Witchy theme. It would even be cool for a mad scientist or wizard.

About this Halloween Animatronic Prop: The sitting scarecrow animatronic from Spirit Halloween looks suspiciously like he's sleeping. A bowl of candy resides in his lap. When an unsuspecting trick-or-treater reaches in to choose a piece, a motion detector triggers the scarecrow's head to snap up and he cackles a maniacal laugh. Is it scary? Sure… But for this Halloween, we wanted to transform him into the scarecrow from your nightmares. A scarecrow inspired by the DC Comics Scarecrow from Batman.
After the unboxing, we started by weathering his clothes and giving him new pants. When we cut off his burlap mask, we discovered a screaming plastic head underneath. Was this a long discarded head repurposed by Spirit as a simple base, or does this scarecrow actually hold a more sinister secret? Either way, the head made a perfect form for a new burlap scarecrow mask, now with glowing red eyes and a stitched up joker-like smile. A new burlap hat completed his look.
We love making our own Halloween props and decorations from scratch, but giving existing props a makeover is also a lot of fun. Spirit Halloween animatronics can provide a great starting point, and with a little bit of DIY love you can transform them into something spectacular for your haunted house or Halloween yard display.

Our book of shadows was made with a really easy technique using tissue paper and Mod Podge. The evil eye looks around as though it's alive. This DIY Halloween decoration is the perfect addition to any witch costume and would look great as part of your 2022 Halloween display.

When Derek from VanOaks Props reached out with a challenge, we knew it was going to be good! He proposed sending us a mystery box filled with random materials and we had to build a DIY Halloween Prop from the Mystery Box materials! We sent him a box as well so be sure to check out his video.
We make a lot of Halloween crafts and projects but making one from a complete mystery box was a crazy hard challenge. We spent several days thinking up DIY Halloween prop ideas and finally decided on a miniature haunted house! We got inspired by Lemax Spooky Town Halloween Village. We've never done papercraft stuff or miniature dioramas so this was all new territory, though we could use a lot of the DIY techniques we use on our other Halloween props.

In the summer of 2022, we found a used Home Depot animatronic Halloween Witch for sale! Since we already have a bubbling witch’s cauldron, we thought she’d be a great addition to our 2022 Halloween decorations so we got to work unboxing and assembling her! This animated Halloween witch, made by Home Accents Holiday, features glowing red LED eyes, a motion sensor, and an animatronic rocking motion. She also cackles and says scary things about luring trick or treaters with candy! 😱
The rocking chair witch is a decent Halloween prop but we knew that with a little DIY love we could unleash her inner forest witch power and turn her into the terrifying hag she was truly meant to be. We’re so happy with how this epic prop redo turned out and we hope you enjoyed watching it! Let us know if there are any Halloween Animatronics you’d like to see us upgrade!

On our 2022 tour of the Spirit Halloween store, a strange girl caught our eye. She seemed to stare into the abyss and her soul screamed with emptiness from the horrors she had seen. We knew right then we had to take her home with us. We also picked up the Spirit Halloween Swinging Mechanism - a versatile Halloween animatronic that can turn any prop into a swinging nightmare.
The Empty Soul Girl on a Swing setup was quite easy in spite of the lack of directions. She’s a lightweight Halloween prop that’s sure to scare all the trick ‘r treaters in your neighborhood. But we knew we could make her better. We went to Goodwill to find a creepy nightgown (also a great place for Halloween costume ideas!) and got to work. We’re so happy with how she turned out! She reminds us of a mix between Samara from The Ring and Kayako from The Grudge.
It was nice to take a quick break from our DIY Halloween projects to work on this Spirit Halloween animatronic makeover. Empty Soul Girl is a scary Halloween swinging animatronic that we can wait to add to our 2022 Halloween display! Spirit Halloween Decorations are a great way to make your yard haunt extra spooky or to add jump scares to your haunted house this Halloween!

Every August it happens. From out of the ashes of an abandoned old store rises a glorious sight - Spirit Halloween. We usually build most of our Halloween props and decor, but we’ve been wanting to get some Halloween Animatronics so we decided to check out what they had. We really wanted to see some of the big props like the Bog Zombie and Nozzles the Clown in person. We were not disappointed. Not only did they have really cool animatronics, but they had some amazing Halloween props and decorations as well.
They had a bunch of cool decorations from The Haunted Mansion, Hocus Pocus, Nightmare Before Christmas, and Trick ‘r Treat. They also had the usual suspects - tombstones, fog machines, masks, makeup, and Halloween costumes galore. We got to see Shorty from Killer Klowns from Outer Space, Grim the animatronic skeleton, and Barry the caged zombie in person. They didn’t have Lord Raven out for display, but it was available for purchase.
We weren’t planning out it, but we ended up getting a bunch of stuff! We can’t wait to show you our haul and do some unboxings of our new animatronics!

We’ve been playing Minecraft since beta and we’ve always wanted to build stuff from it in real life. Our house has a bit of a spider theme for Halloween, so we thought a life size, real life Minecraft spider would be the perfect fit. To make it even cooler, we made it remote controlled so that it can chase the neighborhood kids and it goes SUPER FAST. We made our real life Minecraft spider out of pink insulation foam so that it’s light but sturdy. We also matched the size and colors to the Minecraft game exactly so this is as close to a IRL Minecraft Spider that we’ve seen!
We build loads of DIY Halloween Props and this Real Life Minecraft Spider is going to be an awesome addition!

#Halloween #Props #DIYThe Secret to Making the BEST Halloween SpiderwebsWicked Makers2022-07-22 | Jay and Jaimie show you how to make the ultimate giant spiderwebs with an unlikely material and add a creepy ambiance to your Halloween 2022 decorations.
We've all been there. You fight with the cheap fluffy cotton-like spider web, trying to stretch it out so it looks realistic, but in the end it just looks stringy and clumpy. There's a secret material that home haunters have been using for years to make amazing spider webbing called beef netting. It's made by a company called Trenton Mills and if you want to order it, now is the time because it tends to sell out long before October. Beef netting spider webs are easy to make, look amazing, and can be reused year after year in your Halloween display. These DIY spider webs make a great background for your Halloween props and would pair beautifully with a giant spider.
