Easy hacks for using all kinds of past aspects in Welsh, e.g. I went, I have been, I was going, I have been going, I had gone... !
Grammar tables from the video (from Gareth King - Modern Welsh: A Comprehensive Grammar)
nes i (I did)
nest ti (you did)
naeth e/hi (he/she did)
naethon ni (we did)
naethoch chi (you formal/plural did)
naethon nhw (they did)
roeddwn i
roeddet ti
roedd e/hi
roedden ni
roeddech chi
roedden nhw
*Roedd is the imperfective, so I should have also included "Bues i" as the preterite but in Pen Llyn we often use them interchangeably (and incorrectly, perhaps)
