In conversation with Tomas Rawlings we talk about the culture, behaviours, and perceptions of the video game and tabletop gaming hobbies and industries. As an exceptional thinker on the nature of gaming Tomas has given TED talks, consulted across the video games industry, written tabletop games, and co-founded his own games studio, Auroch Digital, to push the boundaries of what games can mean.
In more recent times Tomas and Auroch have adapted classic Games Workshop titles like Chainsaw Warrior and Dark Future for the video game market. And in their latest release they have taken the Warhammer 40,000 universe and refracted it through the lens of retro first person shooters with Boltgun.
We talk about the past, the future, and the value of gaming in society.

![KROKODIL TEARS: The Dark Future Gets Darker! | GW Book Club 13
Were reading Krokodil Tears, the second novel set in Games Workshops post-apocalyptic-cyber-goth Dark Future setting that was inspired by Mad Max, Blade Runner, Judge Dredd, 80s action & horror movies, and a little bit of Cthulhu.
Written by Kim Newman under the pen name Jack Yeovil and released in 1991 Krokodil Tears raises the stakes for the fate of the world, and expands on the dangerous characters that inhabit it.
In GW Book Club my friend Stu and I make our way through the 17 original books published by Games Workshop between 1989 and 1991.

![Miniature Masters | Perry Twins in Conversation with Jordan Sorcery
Alan and Michael Perry were some of the earliest sculptors at Citadel and they helped to define the look and feel of Warhammer as it evolved from the very beginning.
Their work on the Empire informed the distinctive historically influenced uniforms, they created the Goblin Fanatics, and they designed some of the greatest models, units, and armies in Games Workshop history
In my interview with the Perry twins we talk about their origins in the sculpting art and hobby, their careers working on historical miniatures, Warhammer, and on the Lord of the Rings.
