Guster 25: Celebrating 25 Years of Guster
WE HAVE BEEN A BAND FOR TWENTY FIVE YEARS, GUSTERRHOIDS. We vaguely remember that our first time on stage together was at Lewis Hall, Tufts University, in December 1991. We were a trio named “Ryan, Adam, and Brian” and we played six cover songs at double speed.
Today we are announcing a special 25th Anniversary Show at the Beacon Theater in NYC. It will be Friday, November 25th 2016. We are planning to put up a small museum of Guster memorabilia at the show. The Old 97’s are opening. We might even play a new song or two. This will be a an awesome celebration of our shocking tenure as a band, so if you’ll be near New York for Thanksgiving, please join us.

Guster returned to Boston, Massachusetts in January 2017 for a four night run of music at The Paradise Rock Club and festivities throughout Boston. This video is our attempt to recap all of it, the fans who flew in from across the country, ice skating, bowling, the late night set at The Burren, the request wheel and more.
