This is the story of Guru Tegh Bahadur, the 9th Sikh Guru, a Guru who gave his life not to protect his own religion, but to defend someone else’s right to practice theirs.
Long before the words “human rights” or “freedom of religion” entered global conversations, the Gurus of Sikhi were already standing for them. At a time when Mughal authorities outlawed the right of Hindus to practice their faith, Guru Tegh Bahadur rose against oppression with a message that still speaks to us today
