PILARw is a situation awareness system for the automatic detection and localisation of small and medium calibre gunshots, as well as rockets (RPGs), mortars and anti-tank missiles. PILARw displays the gunshots origin in grid coordinates and in real-time allowing to pinpoint the threat.

Two main applications are covered: The ground deployment and the vehicle mounted deployment allowing operation in motion. Adaptation to other platforms (soldier, helicopter, fast patrol boat) are available with custom design.
