This is it, we’ve reached the final frontier.
I figured that for my final video, it should be this island, as it represents a lot to me.
Sneezo was my first ever monster, being made all the way back in 4th grade. He was the monster who kickstarted this 5 year journey of monsters and music, and it only feels fitting that he gets to end it.
This island also represents the Universals, a group of monsters who represent my humble beginnings in the community. If I could tell 12 year old me that the things he was drawing back hen would go in to be loved by so many people, I think he would be ecstatic, knowing that all these little creatures from that mind of his would go on to entertain so many people.
It also represents how far I’ve come, with this island being made in Fl Studio entirely and incorporating many things I could have only dreamed of doing back in 2019-2020, like tempo changes! And truth be told, this song has been done for a long time now, with the first “complete draft” being over a year ago until I decided to go back and make enhancements later.
I want to leave you all with a personal piece of advice from me, as a lesson you can take from me as I part ways from this community.
Look at the moon. It looks different for a lot of you, and for some it may be empty. But no matter what, there’s always a bright side of the moon. There is always a bright side, even if all you can see is the dark side. The dark side will not last forever, as eventually, the bright side will show itself once more. Take comfort in the fact that no matter your perspective, there’s always a bright side, be it to the moon, or anything you may find yourself experiencing.
Thank you all for being such an amazing fanbase, supporting my creativity, being understanding, and simply just, being great people to be around. I have made so many friends and acquaintances from this community and it just makes my heart swell to think that I met all these people thanks to some silly little musical monsters. I will never forget my time in this community, and I wish you all well as I take my leave.
