Gundam: The Battle Master is a video game that was released on the PlayStation console in 1997 by Bandai, the game was developed by Natsume.
Story / Intro:
Due to global pollution and increase in population, humanity is no longer able to thrive on Earth. It fell to the International Symbiotic Community to create a new home for mankind in outer space by exploring other planets. Upon confirmation of viable living conditions, planetary colonization started immediately, successfully creating new homes many years later.
However, some colonies rebelled against the Community when they began to impose order, the resulting chaos leading to mass destruction. To protect themselves, the colonies created Mobile Suits. Due to their rarity and power, they became precious commodities and bounty hunters soon took these powerful machines for themselves. A vicious battle between these mercenaries soon broke out, the likes of which mankind has never seen.

In an Endless Dream
Rachel, whose father is a major mobile suit broker, has had nothing to lack until she reached adulthood. Furthermore, she has a fiancé who is a promising mobile suit pilot and soldier, and her happiness is reaching its peak.
But fate is always fickle, and even the smallest prank can bring about great tragedy.
Her fiancé Park West, who had been called up to serve in the mobile suit pursuit force, was killed in battle. Tragedy struck Rachel abruptly and, as a natural consequence, she was confused The suddenness of the misfortune nearly stopped Rachel's thinking, and she thought she had lost all hope in life.
However, the night of despair will eventually end. The arrival of a new morning arrives with the TV news. A report of the mobile armor theft incident. A huge, jet-black machine that has annihilated the pursuing force and escaped is vaguely visible on the screen.
Rachel knew instantly what it was: the abomination who had taken the person she loved most... her enemy.
The news anchor was babbling away about how the military was behind the incident, but that didn't matter to Rachel, because the only thing on her mind was revenge.
Rachel gave up the happy life she had lived until then.
Because of her father's job, it was easy for her to get her hands on a mobile suit. She had been piloting a mobile suit since he was a child. There was no obstacle that could stand in the way of her revenge. "Watch me, Park. I will definitely get my revenge."
Rachel muttered these words to the portrait of her fiancé she held close to her chest, and climbed into her beloved mobile suit.
