Sahil Lavingia is the founder and CEO of Gumroad, a platform that allows creators to sell directly to their audience. He started the company in 2011 after realizing how difficult it was for creators to sell digital products without a website.
He is also an angel investor, painter, and writer who has published a book called Minimalist Entrepreneur. He was previously Pinterest's second employee and first designer.
Back in 2020 early in the pandemic, Sahil launched one of the first ever rolling venture funds with AngelList.
During the pandemic, he launched a crowdfunding campaign to bring over 7,000 investors to Gumroad.
Sahil recently worked with DOGE and how to improve the Veterans Administration (VA).
