When it comes to Guitar Tone, there might be something Gypsy Jazz guitarists have been on to for many years. They're playing as many down strokes as they can. Even when playing descending lines they even play down strokes for each new strings, resulting in double down strokes! In this lesson we'll look at picking technique, pick slanting, down strokes, etc to create a thicker tone on the guitar, without touching the EQ on the amp.
