It has been some time since I played and sang a song by Jim Reeves.
Known as "Gentleman Jim", his songs continued to chart for years after his death in a plane crash. He is a member of both the Country Music and Texas Country Music Halls of Fame.
My mother was a dance teacher and used many of Reeves' records in her classes as they were in "strict tempo" and ideal for "Old Time and Modern Dances" such as waltzes and quicksteps.
"I’ve Lived A Lot In My Time" was written and composed by Reeves.
