We teamed up with Luke Willett, the world’s fastest golfer, to attempt a new Guinness World Record for the fastest 9-hole round of golf by an individual, taking place at Jumeirah Golf Estates ahead of the 2023 DP World Tour Championship.
Much like DP World, Luke is an expert at efficiently getting things from A to B, so was the perfect candidate to take on the challenge.
He demonstrated unparalleled speed and precision, showcasing his smart shot making skills in an outstanding display of athleticism, all done in 34-degree Dubai heat. The Fire Course definitely lived up to its name.
Our involvement in this challenge showcases our support of all forms of golf and our dedication to achieving goals in the most efficient way possible.
The official time of his record-breaking achievement was 20 minutes and 12 seconds, an incredible effort!
