I think with this 300,000 subscriber milestone, I’d mention the people that amazingly made me reach this far.
To my loving parents, who supports me even though I’m a very stubborn person lol
To my sister, who is there whenever I'm feeling down
To my grandparents, who were the ones to spark my passion for piano
To my uncle, who allowed me to experience a valuable concert in California
To Edwin, who started the whole thing in Singapore :3
To Animenz, who is very much an inspiration and a friend in the anime piano world~
To my Patreon supporters, who made it possible to have such high quality audio possible!
To all the anime pianists, who practice, arrange, and perform anime songs with passion~
And lastly, to you, my fans. You, who is interested in piano; You, who loves watching anime; You, who enjoys listening to anime songs; You, who carries all the stories and emotions from years of watching anime. I was able to be successful in what I do because of you, because you were there to listen, because you were there to watch, and you were there to appreciate what anime piano really is about.
My Dearest is most likely one of the BEST anime songs ever. It will come down as a true anime classic. The lyrics, the song composition… everything about it is simply amazing and I’ve put my soul into arranging it to the best of my ability. The atmosphere alone, as if I can feel the confidence and dedication of ryo’s and supercell’s musical ideas through it.
I’ve taken the time to edit in the English lyrics (from various good sources such as animelyrics.com and lyrical-nonsense.com – big fan of Thaerin’s translations!) so that people can appreciate what the song really is about.
Well guys, here’s to another 300,000 subscribers in the future!! Thank you for listening, and I hope you will enjoy this as much as I loved arranging and recording it!
