Ik schreef dit 'magisch realistisch' verhaal oorspronkelijk in het Frans voor een project van Kingofhearts.be, maar vertaalde het ook naar het Nederlands en het Engels. Dit is een fragment van mijn goede vriend Guillaume Engels (m-g.be en manager van bleyckhof.be & www.anshowbis.be), die een expressieve voorleessessie houdt van de Nederlandse tekst. (Ik tracht de Engelse en Franse tekst in ondertitels toe te voegen in de youtube-functie.) Je komt het verhaal binnen op een moment dat Oscar met zijn hond Flash doorheen een steegje wandelt om op de kaai langs het water te gaan wandelen. Eerdere gebeurtenissen in het verhaal gaven reeds aan dat vandaag geen gewone dag is. Vooraleer Oscar de kaai kan betreden wordt hij aangesproken door een mysterieuze stem.
I originally wrote this 'magically realistic' story in French for a project of Kingsofhearts.be, but translated it to Dutch and English as well. This is an extract of my friend Guillaume Engels (m-g.be, manager of bleyckhof.be & www.anshowbis.be) , doing a wonderful dramatic reading of the dutch version of the text. (I'll try to add the English and French version of the text in the Youtube subtitles.) You enter the story as Oscar is going on a stroll with his dog Flash, crossing an alleyway to reach the quais down by the waterside. Some earlier occurences in the story already gave them a clue that today is no ordinary day. Just before setting foot on the quais, Oscar gets interpellated by a mysterious voice.
A la base j'ai écrit cette histoire 'magiquement réaliste' en français pour un projet de Kingofhearts.be, mais je l'ai également traduite en néerlandais et en anglais. Voici un extrait de mon ami Guillaume Engels (m-g.be et manager de bleyckhof.be & www.anshowbis.be), qui donne une superbe lecture expressive du texte néerlandais. (J'essaye de joindre le texte francais et anglais dans la fonction sous-titres de youtube.) Dans cet extrait Oscar est en promenade avec son chien Flash. Ils ont déjà compris, suite à plusieurs incidents étranges, qu'aujourd'hui n'est pas un jour comme les autres. Au moment qu' Oscar veut monter sur les quais, il se fait interpeller par une voix mystérieuse.
