Guild Wars Reforged is finally here and we embark on a brand new journey experiencing a legendary MMORPG. It fills me with joy to see the coveted title which started the Guild Wars franchise solidifying itself into the future.
Guild Wars 1 has a unique class system — you start with a primary profession, but you can mix in a secondary profession to create completely unique builds. There are 10 core classes, from the fast-hitting Assassin and spell-breaking Mesmer to the durable Warrior and spirit-summoning Ritualist. Your primary class determines your armor and special attribute, but your secondary opens up thousands of combos — you can be a healing Warrior, a scythe-wielding Assassin, or an Elementalist who steals life like a Necro. The beauty of GW1 is that your power comes from your skill bar, not from grinding gear, so your creativity — not your level — defines your playstyle.
