ATTN: Shortly after this video went live MAC actually made ALL of these shadows available on their website, whether you are a PRO member or not! This means two things: 1) The information in my video was out-of-date before I even had a chance to tell anyone about it! :/ and 2) You no longer have to worry about what shades are available to who and how you can get them... because as of now, in the USA, you can order ALL of these colors via maccosmetics.com - even if you AREN'T a PRO member :)

For the first time in several years, MAC has made their PRO products available to non-PRO members on-line (they've always been available in PRO stores to non-PRO members). In the US you can select the PRO PRODUCTS tab on maccosmetics.com and see a list of PRO products available.
MAC Shadow/PRO Palette Refill Pan

Are there any similarities between PRO shades and other MAC shadows you might be used to seeing around? Take a look:
Blue Calm is closest in color to Freshwater but more pigmented with a smoother texture and Freshwater is darker in color with more reflective sheen (it's frostier). Electric Eel is matte and looks more teal when compared to Blue Calm.
Bottle Green's closest relative is Humid, which is much lighter, more yellow-toned and not matte.
Deep Damson is much lighter than Shadowy Lady but has a similar texture. It looks brick red when swatched next to Fig. 1, which is far more purple.
Ground Brown is a rich, true chocolate brown. It has a number of similar shades but is also unique when swatched next to them: Espresso is more yellow/muddy, Embark is ruddy and leans more burgundy by comparison and Brown Down (which is the most similar) is flatter looking with less rich, chocolate copper tones.
Indian Ink is more blue-purple, less plum, when compared with Fig. 1 but has a similar texture, finish and the same intensity of color.
Kelly is very unique. It's more aqua/teal than all of MAC's green shadows and more green than all of their teal and aqua shades.
Naval is closest to Contrast but matte and more indigo. Deep Truth is also frostier and looks pale and more yellow by comparison.
Soot is lighter than Typographic and Nehru but is similar enough to Nehru that if you had it already, you probably don't "need" Soot.
Sour Lemon is less chalky and more chartreuse than Sunny Spot and more yellow, less "neon green" next to Bitter. If you have Rated R and Three Ring Yellow (both limited edition shades), Sour Lemon is very similar - almost mix of the two.
Vellum has no dupes. It's a frosted, nearly transparent white with a violet duo-chrome effect.
Aqua is lighter than anything else MAC makes in the blue department. The closest is Aquadesiac which is shimmery (not matte) and much darker. Moon's Reflection is darker and far more blue, less aqua.
Bio-Green is more green than Lucky Green, which is far more yellow with more frost/reflective sheen (Bio-Green looks satin finished compared to Lucky Green).
Bright Sunshine is frosty and brighter than Chrome Yellow (but they are similar in color), far lighter than Goldenrod.
Canary Yellow is lighter and brighter than any other yellow MAC offers. It's a chalk pastel yellow when swatched next to Bright Sunshine, Chrome Yellow or Goldenrod.
Cobalt is much darker than Winkle and has more plum in it. Atlantic Blue is dark and "true blue" by comparison.
Coral is a dark coral but still more "coral" than Red Brick or Orange, which are the only similar shades (and they aren't very similar)
Lime is darker and matte next to Bitter (there really isn't another similar shade in MAC's range).
Sky Blue is darker than Aqua but not as dark as Aquadesiac and more pale "sky" blue than both of them (less teal).
Rose is most similar to Da Bling. If you have Da Bling you probably don't need Rose but Rose has a nicer texture with slightly more duo-chrome in it. Otherwise they're very similar to one another.
