A step by step guide how to install a 3.5" floppy drive in an Amstrad PCW 8256 or 8512 vintage word processor.

Please note that a standard PC 3.5" floppy drive will not work as the power connector is wired differently. It will need a 4 pin to 3 pin molex adaptor as seen in step 10 or you may damage your drive or PCW.
