Rivers are difficult places to film—especially when the camera needs to move with the current.
For Guardians of the Snake, we built a custom stabilized camera rig mounted to a drift boat so we could capture the anglers and the landscape from inside the river itself. Combined with aerial cinematography, it allowed us to follow the story as it unfolded naturally on the water.
OWC recently released a behind-the-scenes video showing how we captured the footage and managed media while filming in a constantly moving environment.
