After the completion of the "Paleto Score Setup", Lester will text Michael and Trevor telling them that he has discovered a large military convoy with the equipment needed to take the Paleto Bay Bank. Send Michael or Trevor to the location of the vehicle, indicated on the map as "Hs" (Heist Set-Up Mission), in Blaine County. The icon will move as it follows one truck hauling the military hardware and two jeeps, one at the front of the truck and the other at the back. This convoy travels to Fort Zancudo every few hours (game time), so if one is missed another shall come along in due course. The convoy appears on Senora Road and work their way across the map to the base via the approach road. If you set a waypoint to their location, make sure to adjust it every now and then as it will keep on moving.
There are several methods in which the convoy can be taken. The easiest way to do this is to stop your car or helicopter infront of the jeep at the font, use it as cover, and shoot down the people in the vehicles. For this method to be particularly effective, a well armored vehicle is recommended. As you pick off the guards, make sure to avoid hitting the truck as if the equipment is destroyed, you fail the mission.
Another tactic is to park your car on the side of the road well ahead of the convoy, get out your car, arm yourself with Stick Bombs and plant a couple on the road. Once planted, get behind your car then detonate the bombs as the land jeep drives over them which halts the convoy. Taking this path will allow you to achieve 100% in the mission, however make sure you are timely with their detonation as you don't want to destroy the equipment. From behind your car, gun down the remaining guards who emerge from the truck and jeep behind. Go for headshots to fulfill another requirement for 100%. Michael is recommended to help achieve full completion of the mission for the use of his special ability.
After the guards are eliminated, get into the military truck and follow the yellow route back to the meth lab. Park the truck at the destination marker behind the gas station next door. Exit the truck and your character will automatically call Lester. When the mission ends a new "H" will appear on the map, this is an active point for all three characters. Send any to its location to begin "The Paleto Score"
